The Death of SB665

8 March 2006 - FRANKLIN, W. Va. - Thank you to all who contacted Senator Kessler to get SB665 out of the judiciary committee for a vote on the Senate floor. It turned out to be a futile effort. Senator Kessler sat on the bill and the bill is dead.

Bills introduced by the minority party seldom get anywhere, especially when the entrenched leaders of the majority party toss enough bones to their constituents to get reelected, and then wheel and deal and trade favors to take care of their friends and campaign contributors.
